Everyone has something to hide—especially high school juniors Spencer, Aria,
Emily, and Hanna. Spencer covets her sister's boyfriend. Aria's fantasizing about her English
teacher. Emily's crushing on the new girl at school. And Hanna uses some ugly
tricks to stay beautiful. But they've all kept an even bigger secret since their friend Alison
vanished. How do I know? Because I know everything about the bad girls they were and
the naughty girls they are now. And guess what? I'm telling.
The Review
3 Stars
The only reason I decided
to read this book is because I wanted to know what the T.V. show was about. I’m
so thankful I picked up this book.
This book is filled
with mystery and romance. With everybody questioning each other, you never know
who the real killer is.
The book follows
Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna. These four girls just lost the leader of their
group. She disappeared and wasn’t seen or heard from again.
My favorite character
was Aria and Hanna. I loved Aria because she didn’t really know who she was.
She was trying to find herself constantly. She also seemed the most levelheaded
when Spencer was acting crazy.
I loved Hanna because
she was so lost. Her boyfriend doesn’t want her and she was starting to feel
fat again so her eating disorder flares up. I just felt so bad for her.
I did not like
Spencer or Emily. I didn’t like Spencer because of what she did with her sister’s
boyfriend and I didn’t like Emily because she was so whiny.
Now there is a
relationship I really enjoyed. That was the relationship of Aria and Ezra. They
have the Romeo and Juliet vibe going on. Like, the star-crossed lovers, they
find a way to make it work.
This book wasn’t great
and it certainly wasn’t bad it was just OKAY.
